The different types of traffic source are:
Direct traffic: When an user types or past URL in Google and directly comes to the webpage, these type of traffic is known as Direct traffic
Organic traffic: The traffic comes through by clicking the search result (comes through the search engine like Google, yahoo, Bing)
social media traffic: Traffic from the social media platforms (website visit from the social media platform like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
Referral traffic: Visits that comes from an another website (like referral links)
Ads traffic: Visit comes though by seeing ads
How to set a Google Analytic tool
Step 1 : search for Google analytic in Google
Step 2 : Logging using your Google account
Step 3 : Go to Google analytics and click start now option
Step 4 : Give a name for your account
Step 5 : Then you want to set your basic setting like location (India) and currency(INR)
Step 6 : After setting your basic website information your want to click create option, then agree to the terms and services provide by the google analytics
Step 7 : Then google will provide a tracking code
Step 8 : Copy the tracking code and paste it in the <head> section of your website, and save it
After saving your tracking code on the head section of the website come back to google analytics and asses your your website and wait for see your website visit
